Running out of flour in the middle of a baking project might not sound like fun, but with a Loring in the garage an emergency grocery run can easily turn into a joyful experience. This is the first bike we've found with such an enjoyable balance of comfort and perkiness. The smaller 26” wheels and low slung geometry work with the surprisingly light double-butted steel frame to make the bike snappy in corners and quick to put on speed. Civia trades away almost nothing in comfort and practicality; keeping the posture upright and a genuine Brooks B-67 under the rider.
